The Vintage Tablecloth Lovers Club (VTLC) was established in the late summer of 2002 by enthusiasts of 1930's - 1970's vintage printed tablecloths. The purpose of the club is to promote the education and appreciation of these pieces of "Kitchen Textile Art" from our past, as well as to have fun sharing our hobby and creating lasting friendships. Please explore all the tabs on this website home page. Becoming a paid member provides access to our searchable database of approximately 3000 vintage tablecloths, providing information about manufacturer, designer, pattern name, etc. This is the only one of its kind in the world. In addition, we have an archive of another 1500 or so tablecloths with the original paper labels, wonderful research articles written by members, monthly on-line tablecloth sales reports, member activities and more as evidenced on the site map. Our forum and live chat options are available to all and offer in-depth conversation beyond the more common social media types. Just choose the “Join Club” tab at the top and follow the prompts. If you have questions or need some help in some way, send a quick email to info@vintagetableclothloversclub.com.The VTLC is a not-for-profit club. The $30.00 a year dues are collected to offset the maintenance of the club and special club activities.

Left untreated, TTD leads to full blown Textilosis (our disease), an all-consuming love of vintage tablecloths and textiles. In addition to hoarding and petting, victims of textilosis display other chronic symptoms and behaviors, such as forming online support groups, writing and reading books and articles about the objects of their obsession, festooning their homes with tablecloths, spending inordinate amounts on stain removal products, openly dealing in textiles and even traveling to fraternize with other addicts under the guise of conventions.
